If You’re Here Because of PDA
If you’ve found this community because of PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), you’re in the right place — even though this space does not centre labels. This work looks at shared human systems and how they express differently depending on sensitivity, autonomy, perception, and safety. Many people with PDA profiles recognise themselves here because demand sensitivity, loss of autonomy, fear-based responses, and humiliation are understood as nervous system patterns, not behaviour problems. This is not a rules-driven space. There is no expectation to perform, comply, self-correct, or present yourself in a particular way. Instead, this community is built around psychological safety, mutual respect, and permission to be real. You are welcome to speak honestly, be unfiltered, ask questions that don’t fit neatly, or simply exist quietly without explanation. Some courses here are universal. Others go deeper into autonomy, demand sensitivity, interruption, and shame — themes that often strongly resonate for PDA adults, parents, and carers. You’re free to move at your own pace, take what fits, and leave what doesn’t. Authenticity is welcome here. Masking is not required.
