Instantly campaign notifications via Apps Script 🛠️

Hi everyone!

Today I wanted to set up notifications from Instantly when my emails from a campaign get a reply. But then Instantly hit me with their Hyper Growth plan that's the minimum to be able to set up notifications "normally" (via their mobile app or webhook on desktop) 🤦

So I went to Claude and asked for help. And what Claude suggested is having a Google Apps Script to scan Instantly's Unibox via API every minute or so, and ping on mail/Slack when there's a reply. So I set that one up, needed Instantly API, and since I wanted to get notified on Slack, set the workspace and API there as well. Did a test run, seems to be working.

So this is the workaround I found today. Just ask Claude to write that for you and walk through the setup process, and it shall be fine.

Hope this helps someone in my shoes, trying to figure out the notifications on Growth plan.

I'm sure there are also people who do cold emails here with Instantly, and are not on Hyper Growth plan - what's your setup for these notifications?
