Near to the Brokenhearted 💗
Psalm 34:18 reminds me that God is closest to me in the moments when I feel the weakest. When my heart is broken, when life feels overwhelming, or when I don't have the strength to keep going, He doesn't walk away—He draws near.
I love that this verse doesn't tell me to hide my pain or pretend everything is okay. Instead, it reminds me that God meets me right where I am. He sees every tear, every disappointment, every unanswered prayer, and every burden I carry.
Looking back on my life, I can see His faithfulness in the hardest seasons. There were times when I didn't know how I would make it through, yet God sustained me with His love, His peace, and His presence. He gently carried me when I couldn't walk on my own.
This verse reminds me that brokenness is never the end of the story. God is a healer, a comforter, and a faithful Father who restores hearts and gives hope. Even in my deepest pain, I can trust that He is near.
"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18 ESV ❤️🙏
