Faithful to Forgive 💗
1 John 1:9 reminds me that no matter how many times I fall short, God's grace is always available to me. He does not ask me to hide my mistakes or pretend I have it all together. Instead, He invites me to come to Him honestly, confess my sins, and receive His forgiveness.
What I love about this verse is the reminder that God is faithful. His forgiveness is not based on my perfection but on His character. When I come to Him with a repentant heart, He is ready to forgive, restore, and cleanse me.
This verse reminds me that I do not have to carry the weight of guilt and shame. Through Christ, I can lay my burdens down, receive His mercy, and move forward knowing that I am loved and forgiven.
It encourages me to keep my heart open before God, trusting that His grace is greater than my failures and His mercy is new every morning.
