Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁
🦃 A Thanksgiving Letter to Every Woman in Hormonal Transition “We are not broken. We are protecting our peace.” We are in the season of giving… but when hormones are shifting, our capacity changes. Sometimes we are no longer the perfect: ✔ mother ✔ wife ✔ sister ✔ daughter ✔ friend ✔ host Sometimes the house is messy. Sometimes we cancel plans. Sometimes we disappear from group chats. Sometimes we just don’t have it in us to keep showing up the same way. That doesn’t make us bitter. Or selfish. Or broken. It means our body is trying to catch up with our life. 💛 MENOPAUSE IS NOT FAILURE — IT’S TRANSITION We are not done giving. We are done proving. We are done perfecting. We are done people pleasing. We are learning to protect our peace — and give our nervous system a chance to breathe. Menopause is not the end of who we are — it is the beginning of who we get to be. Showing up — even on low battery — is still showing up. That is strength. And THAT is enough. 🧠 EVIDENCE-BASED SUPPORT – THIS CAN BE FIXED There ARE solutions. Hormone harmony can be restored: Support Option What It Helps HRT / BHRT Mood, hot flashes, bone health, sleep Peptides Metabolism, muscle, inflammation Nutrient replacement Energy & neurotransmitter support Gut health protocol Estrogen detox + mood regulation Brain health strategies Focus, drive, memory Protein & fiber AM Dopamine & blood sugar balance Stress & cortisol support Emotional regulation & resilience 🌿 IN OTHER WORDS: You can feel strong again. You can feel calm again. You CAN rebuild energy, joy, and intimacy. Your brain and body are not done — they are asking for support. 💬 COMMUNITY QUESTION: What’s ONE thing you are letting go of this season? And what’s ONE thing you are calling in? Let’s honor this transition — together. Let’s fix the physiology — and protect the peace. 💛 🦃 Happy Thanksgiving to Every Sister Going Through This. You are not alone. You are not broken. You are becoming. Megan

🦃 Debating Thanksgiving Plans?
🦃 Debating Thanksgiving Plans? Are you stuck between: 👩‍🍳 Cooking a full Thanksgiving dinner → so you don’t have to cook again for a WEEK… OR 🚗 Not cooking at all → and going somewhere else like a peaceful, grateful guest? Because your brain is thinking: “I want leftovers… but I don’t want to cook anything to have leftovers.” Welcome to Menopause Logic™ where energy conservation and food security battle for dominance. 😂 🔬 The SCIENCE Behind This Debate When estrogen drops & cortisol rises, your brain shifts from: ✗ Social excitement to ✔ Energy preservation Hormone Shift What You Feel Estrogen ↓ Lower energy / motivation Dopamine ↓ No reward in effort Cortisol ↑ Overstimulation / stress Blood sugar swings Mood crashes during planning ➡ You want the comfort of food ➡ But you don’t want to earn it ➡ This is normal. This is survival mode. 💡 What Can Help ✔ Pre-plan EASY dishes (sheet-pan veggies, rotisserie hack) ✔ Let others bring sides — delegating is hormone support ✔ Protein at breakfast → lowers stress response ✔ Magnesium glycinate → for social calm ✔ If going out → pack meds, water, light protein snack 🧠 RETHINK THIS: It doesn’t matter where you eat — it matters how regulated your nervous system feels. 💬 COMMUNITY QUESTION 👉 What are YOU leaning toward this year? A) Cook & have leftovers B) Show up somewhere with one dish C) Skip it all & eat in pajamas D) Wherever my bladder says I can handle Drop your answer below 👇 Let’s take a group vote before the hormones decide for us. 😂 Happy Thanksgiving 🍽 🍁🦃 Megan

If I Don’t Answer, Just Text Me
Does anyone else hear their phone ring and instantly get tired? Like my nervous system says: “Nope. We’re not doing this.” I don’t care who’s calling — I’m going to stare at it until it stops ringing. So if I don’t answer? 👉 Just text me. Talking requires too many hormones. My social battery is at 1%… and the charger is missing. Drop below: 📞 Who do you ALWAYS answer vs NEVER answer? I’ll go first… - ALWAYS: food delivery - NEVER: unknown numbers 😂

🧠💬 “What’s That Word Again?”
“What’s That Word Again?” – Why Menopause Steals Our Words (or as we call it… The Menopause Thingy Syndrome 😂) Ever said this? 👇 - “Can you pass me the… the… THE THING… you know… that thingy!” - “I swear, I had the perfect word — then poof… it disappeared.” - “I walked into this room for a reason… what was the reason??” This is not stupidity. This is not aging. ➡️ It’s your brain protecting you while hormones change! 🧪What’s Actually Happening (Real Science!) Root Cause How It Affects Your Brain Estrogen drops Estrogen supports memory + verbal recall Cortisol spikes Stress blocks word retrieval Blood sugar dips Brain loses energy mid-sentence Poor sleep Memory filing cabinet doesn’t get cleaned at night Inflammation Slows neurotransmitter communication Evidence: - Estrogen receptors exist in memory & language centers of the brain — Nature Reviews Neuroscience, 2020 - High cortisol reduces access to words in the temporal lobe — Biological Psychiatry Journal, 2019 ⭐The Good News: Your Brain Is Not Broken — It’s Adapting This “brain fog” happens because your body shifts from reproductive mode → survival mode. The brain redirects energy to protect vital systems (heart, nerves, organs)… and language takes a back seat 🚗 But when we rebalance: ✔ blood sugar ✔ nutrients ✔ cortisol rhythm ✔ sleep cycles …the words come BACK. 🧠✨ 🧠 Try This — Comment Below 👇 Finish the sentence… “Last week I forgot the word ____, so I just called it ____.” Example: “I forgot the word ‘spatula’ so I just said ‘pancake flipper thing.’” 😂 Let’s see the BEST ones!! 💡Want the Words Back? That’s exactly what we fix in Module 2 & Module 4 of the course — → Blood sugar regulation → Cortisol rhythm reset → Nutrient therapy for brain function (B12, choline, DHA, magnesium) → “Calm the inflammation 🧾 Disclaimer: This information is for educational purposes only and is not meant to diagnose, treat, or replace medical care.
