Foray into Active Directory
Its been several weeks since posting as the whole house has been decorated and recarpetted.
Very recently I have been experimenting with Active Directory, using a virtualised version of Windows Server 2019 in Proxmox.
- Installed Windows Server 2019
- Created an Active Directory Server Role
- Created four domain users, three normal, one admin.
- Created domain user storage
- Tested user from a different windows vm
Results
Domain user successfully logged in, storage automatically recognised and mapped when logged in.
Next steps.....
Setup domain software deployment.
