Docker Engine 29.0.0 Compatibility with Portainer
FYI..received this email from Portainer.
"Docker has recently released Docker Engine 29.0.0, and it introduces breaking changes that are not currently compatible with Portainer 2.33 LTS or the latest STS release.
This affects Docker Standalone environments using Docker Engine 29.0.0, where Portainer will likely fail to connect.
For the best stability, we recommend continuing to use Docker versions listed on our official requirements page:
Temporary Workaround
A workaround has been identified by the community that restores connectivity by setting a minimum Docker API version on the daemon.
You can find full details and setup steps here if you are impacted:
Docker 29 Workaround We have confirmed in our testing this is an appropriate workaround.
Our team is actively working on full support for Docker Engine 29.0.0 and its associated API changes."
Just to be aware.
