I tried Beszel a year ago , for me it was not providing enough in depth data , good for people who are happy with simple stats. Docker stats was showing the Host stats , found no difference at time in docker and host stats , may be my bad config . Still unable to remove the agent from one windows host , i stays there no matter what you do to 😀 that thing. Alerts worked fine.

For me truenas scale and Debian , thinking about giving a try NixOS but unable to spare time. Windows for AD only in test use cases and test customer scenarios before playing with production😀

I was facing this some times when on Proxmox , now I'm running xcp-ng 2 nodes fr few years and did not face that , I have garfana + prometheus + opentalemetry stack running docker to keep an eye on the performance. I think monitoring is the key to keep every thing tuned up
Anyone running their own S3 storage in the home lab? Tried RustFS?
I recently spun up an instance of RustFS. Going to migrate away from MinIO since the licensing change. Check out my thoughts here: I Built My Own S3 Storage in My Home Lab (And It Actually Works) https://www.virtualizationhowto.com/2026/04/i-built-my-own-s3-storage-in-my-home-lab-and-it-actually-works/
