Just posted Lesson #2 Why Connection Is the Missing Link to True Wellness
I just added a new lesson to the Holistic Wisdom Series exploring the role connection plays in emotional wellness—for people, animals, and the environments we share. One idea that stood out strongly: Behavior is often communication, not dysfunction. I’d love to hear your thoughts: Have you ever noticed your emotional state influencing your animal companion—or vice versa? Visit the Classroom link at the top of the page to find the first two lessons in the series. I encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the reflection section so you can apply what you have learned. Then post your results... let's get the conversation started!
Saturday Self Care
I took my mom up the trail to see the turtles sunbathing in the pond. She loves turtles and it was a bit of a trek, but the joy it brought her was so contagious. Sometimes it's the small things that make the biggest impact in our lives and in the lives of others. What are you doing for your Self Care this weekend?

Isnt it wonderful to spend a peaceful morning with our beloved pets.
The Magic of Manifestation
I had a really interesting conversation on the podcast recently about manifestation, and it brought a few moments in my life back into focus. Times where things came together in a way that didn’t feel forced… almost like everything aligned at just the right moment. Years ago, I had a quiet dream—not something I focused on often, but a heartfelt wish. I dreamed that one day I would get to go see the Mayan Ruins. I had looked at going... but it didn't fit my budget at the time. A couple of months later, my parents had a cruise booked. My dad ended up needing surgery and asked if I would go in his place so my mom wouldn’t have to travel alone. I was hesitant. I’ve always been uneasy about being out on the open sea. At first, I said no. But they kept asking, saying it would mean so much to my mom if I went. Eventually, I agreed—still unsure, but willing to make the best of it. I mean… big ships are safe, right? We booked the flights, received the itinerary, and started looking through the shore excursions. At least three of them were visits to the Mayan Ruins. That moment has always stayed with me. It made me reflect on how often we try to push or control outcomes, when sometimes things unfold through timing, awareness, and simply being open to what’s in front of us. I’m curious how others experience this… Have you ever had something come together in a way that felt meant to be?
