Keep on finger knitting
I moved myself to the dining room table… earlier I was using an xl crochet hook as my fingers stand in, but when I got to the green yarn, even with two strands of black worsted weight held with it, it was still knitting up too small compared to the teal and how the black will be.
So, I grabbed a pair of the pvc pipes I use as tensioning rods for my rigid heddle loom and am holding my loops on them after I finger knit each lip. They aren’t as wide as the blanket but they are doing their job and I’m experimenting with slightly smaller jumbo plastic knitting needles to hold the overflow so it doesn’t get too tight at the ends or have me miss any of the multiple loops per stitch.
Moved to the dining table and my back thanks me!
Ty for your finger knit pillow presentation and additional finger knit decor on your website!
