🌿 Something Gentle Is Coming…
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been talking a lot about slowing down, creating softly, and caring for ourselves in ways that actually feel good. And that’s exactly what the Creative Self-Care Summit is all about 💛 It’s happening February 17–19, and it’s shaping up to be a really beautiful few days of calm, creativity, and connection. This isn’t about doing more or keeping up. It’s about small creative moments—art journaling, stitching, mindful making, and simple rituals—that help you breathe a little deeper and feel more like yourself again. We’re so excited to gather with this community and create a space that feels: 🌿 Gentle 🌿 Restorative 🌿 Open to everyone (no experience needed) If you know someone who could use a little creative breathing room right now—a friend, family member, or creative buddy—invite them to join us for this free 3-day summit. 👉 Share the registration link with them:https://hobbyscool.lpages.co/2026-creative-self-care-registration-page 💬 Let’s chat:What kind of creative self-care are you craving more of lately? Quiet journaling? Hands-on making? Just a moment to pause? Drop a word or thought below 🌿✨

Crochet Art is so easy for kids and beginners
Hello, I am a crochet artist teaching a new crochet craft online. I would love to connect with teachers and parents who are interested in involving kids in this new modern take on crochet. It is not traditional, it teaches how we can be artists using yarn and new tools. I teach crochet to beginners using a rug latch hook. I also teach Cordcrochet using the Cordmaker which I invented. I have taught in schools and local groups. Now I would love to promote this new hobby online and reach more creators. Kids love this new easy way to crochet.

Fabric Covered Journals
I’ve been working on a series of craft projects since the first of the year. Fabric covered journals with matching pens are among them. Here’s a pic of the one I finished today.
