My kids named our two fluffy black cats Squid (because he's black like ink) and Dove (because of the little cooing sound she made when she was a kitten; she now sounds more like a squawking vulture 😂). In honour of Victoria Day (Canadian holiday) I watched the movie Victoria and Abdul. I love historical fiction about royalty/monarchy from any country - any great suggestions for me?

Becoming a Book Wolf made me think of Call of the Wild by Jack London, which I've never read. Have you? What did you think? The little circle next to your profile picture tells you your level number and, if you click on the Leaderboards tab at the top the page, you can see the names of the levels. A perk for author members when they reach Level 3 (Book Cat) is a spot in the Author Directory. Check out the Directory, under the Classroom tab. You might find a new favourite author!
