In case anyone is struggling... STOP doing these things...
This community invites already established VAs since we're curating a directory. But I recognize that some of you ladies may be new or still building... If that's you and you feel like you're missing something, here are 3 things I want you to stop doing right now. 1. Stop calling yourself a NEW VA. You may be new to offering remote services but you are not new to working. You have years of skills behind you. Scheduling, managing inboxes, keeping people organized, handling details other people miss. That experience is real. Lead with that. Not with how long you have been doing THIS online. 2. Stop relying on social media as your only way to find clients. Posting and waiting is not a client strategy. It is a hope strategy. The VAs who are actually landing clients are showing up in the spaces where their clients already are, asking smart questions, and starting real conversations. That is a skill you can learn. But it requires more than a content calendar. 3. Stop building alone. This is a directory, and like any directory it's a good place to get listed and get found. But getting listed is just one tactic. Building a business that actually runs requires structure, accountability, and people around you who are doing the same thing. If you think you could use more support, accountability and guidance visit us in Do the Boring Work. It is a co-learning community for women who are serious about turning their existing skills into a remote service business. Foundation, structure, templates, tactics, 1:1 calls, Network & Learns and way more. Business should never be done alone.

VAs: Quick reminder before the week starts. 📌
Your directory profile is only working for you if it is current. If you have added a new service, changed your availability, updated your rates, or niched down since you first listed yourself — your profile needs to reflect that today. Business owners are browsing the directory. What they find needs to match where you are in your business today not where you were six months ago. Two minutes. Review your profile. Let me know what to update if anything there is outdated. Your next client is looking. Make sure what they find is ready for them. 👇 [Hire a VA Directory
