I'm a little sad, but it had to be done!
I love responding to business owners who are actively looking for a VA.
That’s literally why this community exists — so I can point them to a directory of solid, verified service providers READY TO WORK.
But to keep that promise, we can’t become a community full of quiet observers who don't take action.
I don’t have anything against lurking. I lurk everywhere. 🤭
But if I want to stay in a community that has guidelines, I'm sure to follow those steps...
And to be listed in our VA Directory here, the basics matter:
complete the VA profile form
upgrade the membership
those 2 steps confirm that you’re here to actually work
Today I removed 10 members who:
– never completed the VA profile form
– joined and never upgraded
– never replied to my email or DM about their status 😔
It did not feel good to do so.
They will be welcomed back - but they must follow the guidelines like everyone else so that collectively we can create a strong directory.
None of this is about chasing big membership numbers.
It’s about protecting the quality of the people in this room — so when business owners come looking, they meet VAs who are serious, responsive, and ready.
And if I can't get a response as group owner, then I'm afraid a potential business owner who reaches out to VAs in here will be ghosted too. And NONE of us want that.
