Some say the glass is half empty. Some say it’s half full.
But… why are we hosting a philosophy conference over a beverage? 🍷
Hand it here. I’ll finish it. You can refill it.
We’ll call it collaboration.
😁
Because the glass isn’t the problem. The way we are seeing it is.
Reality just walks in, drops a glass on the table like, “Here you go.”
No label. No meaning. No dramatic background music.
Then we arrive with our inner narrators:
– “This is lack.”
– “This is abundance.”
– “This reminds me of my childhood.”
– “This is clearly a metaphor for my career.”
By the time we’re done, the glass has a full biography.
But the glass is still just… a glass.
Meaning is the seasoning we sprinkle after the fact, usually flavored by mood, memory, and whatever emotional weather we woke up in that day.
And while we’re busy debating the interpretation, life is gently whispering:
“Are you going to drink it… or just talk about it?”
At some point, wisdom stops quoting and starts choosing.
Not: “What does this mean?”
But: “What do I do now?”
Drink it. Share it. Refill it.
Spill it and laugh.
Write your own line instead of rehearsing someone else’s.
Because in the end, the glass doesn’t define you.
Your action does.
Also… if you’re still debating, I already finished it. 😉
🚧Note: This post is not about beverages
It’s about how we respond to what happens, to others and to our mind needs.
Less debating. More doing.
Less draining conversations. More forward motion.
Because energy is precious… and some discussions are just very thirsty black holes.
Choose what moves you forward. The rest? Leave it in the glass.🙃
