You’re posting. You’re showing up. You’re creating content with heart.
And still… no sales.
If that’s where you are right now, I want you to pause and ask yourself honestly:
👉🏾 Am I actually following up with people? Or am I just hoping they’ll come back on their own?
Because here’s the truth I teach my clients:
✨ Posting is marketing. But following up is sales.*
And no, they are NOT the same thing.
---
Let’s break it down.
You can have:
→ Beautiful branding
→ A helpful lead magnet
→ Solid engagement on your posts
But if you never circle back to the people who showed interest, asked a question, or downloaded your freebie - you're leaving money on the table.
Most sales happen after the 5th to 7th touchpoint.
Most solopreneurs give up after the 1st.
🧠 Here’s What I Recommend:
1. Track your warm leads.
Start a simple spreadsheet or notes app. List people who:
→ Liked or commented on a sales post
→ Asked questions in DMs
→ Signed up for your free event or checklist
→ Said “maybe later” on a discovery call
2. Create a follow-up rhythm.
→ 24 hours after contact: send a thank-you, check in, or share a helpful resource
→ A week later: follow up with clarity, value, or a gentle invitation
→ Two weeks later: invite to a smaller offer, waitlist, or personal connection
3. Use voice notes or short videos in DMs.
These cut through the noise and feel more personal than just text. People buy from connection.
And no - you don’t need a funnel for this.
You just need a consistent system and a mindset that sees follow-up as *service*, not pressure.
🌟 Think of it this way: you're not bugging them. You're reminding them of the solution they already said they need.
🛠 Try This:
This week, follow up with **5 people who engaged with your content in the last 14 days**. No pressure. Just presence and intention.
Let them know:
→ You saw them
→ You care about their outcome
→ You're still here to help
💬 Let’s get real for a second:
👉🏾 Do you have a follow-up system - or is it “post and pray”?
