I just made my first $1k with copywriting ๐Ÿ’ฐ
I didnโ€™t know what copywriting was 2 months ago. One day, I saw that @Patrice Moore was hosting a webinar and decided to join. Little did I know that decision would change my entire life. I was immediately hooked. The way she talked, what she said, how confident she was, and how much she had achieved in such a short period of timeโ€ฆ I KNEW I wanted to work with her. So I booked a call with her the next day and she closed the sale. After that, I started writing copy EVERY SINGLE DAY, following the advice and templates she gave me. A couple days later, I found out she was going for the Skool Games that month, and I had a proposition for her: I could work for her FOR FREE and help her with the new clients she was bringing in. And that would also mean that I would learn A LOT from actually doing the thing I wanted to get better at! A win win situation. She immediately told me to get on a call and we agreed how we would work together. For the next few weeks, I busted my ass off and provided as MUCH value as I could FOR FREE consistently. Until one day she decided to hire me as part of her team. Why am I telling you all this? To prove that IT IS POSSIBLE. No matter where you come from, no matter who you are, no matter how much experience you haveโ€ฆ. IT IS POSSIBLE. I come from a Latin American country where money is worth nothing. Iโ€™ve worked for as little as $2 an hour. But Iโ€™ve always known I was destined for something bigger. Thank you Patrice for believing in me! This is just the beginning.

Brainstorming something here...
What's something you have encountered when trying to figure out what you want to do with your future, or if you're an entrepreneur, in starting you business? If there were a community near you, that could fix one problem for you, what would it be? I'm just making a list of some of the problems I've heard young people complaining about while I was working in colleges. I think some cool businesses could come out of solutions to these problems. For example: - Dating (Men & women are having a hard time meeting people of quality character on normal platforms) - Meeting others in their field (its hard to know what you want to do if you can't speak to someone that's already done it) - Activities off line (most people want to spend less time on their phone but just don't have anything more interesting to do) - Public speaking/confidence building opportunities (Besides Toastmasters I don't think there are any large scale communities focused on helping develop public speaking skills) - Non-college route support (kids that decide to opt-out of college often feel like they are missing out both socially and goal wise)

Copywriting 101: 15 Days to Freedom
Some of the sharpest marketers on the internet have used specific forums to learn their craft. Why? The reason is simple: You can skip much of the learning curve by learning from those who have gone before you. One of these forums is called TheFastLaneForum, which nowadays is behind a paywall. Luckily for you, I've stumbled on this forum over 10 years ago to pick the best gems of the threads that were free to read back in the day. One of those gems just happened to give you very specific thinking that you will need on your journey to become a great copywriter. It's called 15 Days to Freedom (credit to LexDeville for writing it) and you can dive into it right now or the next time when you're about to hone your copy skills. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned pro, you'll find something that you can use the next time you want to make someone take action by using specific words in a specific order. Here you go!

4 copywriting rules I use for every email
When I got my first $2k client ever, I didnโ€™t know what copywriting was. But I had already closed my first sale, and I had an offer to fulfill. I had to get real good, real fast. So what did I do? I got to work. I started where most people get stuckโ€ฆ analyzing other peopleโ€™s copy. I had to distinguish good copy from bad copy so I could do what works and avoid what doesnโ€™t. I analyzed a 1000 pieces of copy (maybe more) And there are 4 things that all great pieces of copy have in common: - Theyโ€™re relatableย  - They hit a pain point - They add urgency/scarcity - They show social proofย  If you look at the 3 images under this post, youโ€™ll realizeโ€ฆ they hit all 4 points. So just COPY what works and start crushing those emails! Comment your favorite line from these emails in the comments below ๐Ÿ‘‡
