Hve a wonderful Wednesday ladies...

Don't compartmentalize your relationship with God, showing only your spiritual side while hiding your struggles, doubts, and failures. In Psalm 86, David prays, "Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever." (Psalm 86:11-12 NIV) An undivided heart is not a perfect heart, but a whole heart. David is asking God to help him bring all of himself into their relationship, to worship with complete authenticity rather than partial performance. There are lots of places in this world where we feel like we have to perform, and God’s presence is not one of them! Later, in Psalm 119, David demonstrates his experience of wholeness: "I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands." (Psalm 119:10 NIV) He's not seeking God with just his spiritual or religious side. David brought his entire self into the pursuit. At the same time, he asks God for strength to stay on this path because he knows his humanity and depravity are never far from him. Wholeness, after all, isn't about having your life perfectly together. Wholeness about bringing everything about your life honestly before God, trusting that His love is big enough to embrace all of who you are. God brings healing and wholeness from the broken pieces of our past and our pain. In the same way that an artist makes a mosaic out of broken pieces of glass, God brings beauty from our brokenness and wholeness from our trauma and pain. Because this is His goal for you, God doesn't want a fraction of you – He wants all of you!

I read this on the YouVersion app this morning and it touched my soul so I immediately thought I have to post this in Her!!! May it encourage you .... Made for This Do you realize that you were purposefully, lovingly, and carefully designed by God? King David said it like this: “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭139‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Your eyes, brain, heart, muscles, organs, nerves, fingernails, eyelashes, and smile. Not only are you wonderfully complex, but you were also planned before life as we know it existed by your Heavenly Father. Even as you read these words, your body is doing some incredible things—without your conscious consent. Your fingers are scrolling, your eyes are capturing, your brain is processing … All the while, your heart is pumping blood, your lungs are managing breath, your eyelids are blinking away dryness, your glands are producing saliva, your blood cells are multiplying by the second, your brain is directing your body while simultaneously storing memory—and so much more. David also points out in other portions of Psalm 139 that God knows everything about us, His presence is inescapable, and He thinks about us so much that such thoughts cannot be numbered. The point? You have been uniquely and intentionally created by God—to love Him and the people around you, to know Him and to make Him known. So, be encouraged. You were made for this.

Good morning ladies, Remember, your mind is like a garden... Whatever you plant and water will grow. Make sure you're nourishing the right thoughts. Here are a few... •For Strength & Courage: "But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles..." — Isaiah 40:31 •For Inner Worth: "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." — Proverbs 31:25 •For Confidence: "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made..." — Psalm 139:14 •For Peace: "God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day." — Psalm 46:5 •For Purpose: "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works..." — Ephesians 2:10 •For Empowerment: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." — Philippians 4:13 •For Reassurance: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." — Jeremiah 29:11

In Psalm 56, David provides a practical strategy for fighting fear with truth: "When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?" (Psalm 56:3-4 NIV) Notice the way David prepares in advance for an experience that triggers his worst fears. "When I am afraid" – David doesn't pretend fear doesn't exist. "I put my trust in you" – he makes a conscious choice about where to place his confidence. Fear is not the enemy, nor can it be avoided. Trusting fear instead of God is the enemy. When fear comes knocking at your heart’s door, what will you do? Pursuing a healthier future involves the decisions and commitments we make before the challenge catches us off guard.
