introductions
Hi everyone - great to be part of the HIBT community and really enjoyed my first session with the group last week (on a topic I had some experience with, working with Pear Therapeutics)!

Where do you live?
Washington, DC (currently) but it's complicated!
My wife and I became empty nesters last summer so we have been living as Airbnb "nomads" for nearly a year now (in house #7) - 3 spots in Los Angeles (where we lived for the last 6 years), Joshua Tree, New Orleans, DC (currently), and NYC (July-September) then we will head back to southern California
What are you working on right now that you’re most excited about?
Working with more health care start ups and emerging biotechs which has been a lot of fun (and I'm learning a lot about the VC/investor process after more work previously helping non-profits raise funds from biopharma companies)
What sector of healthcare do you focus on?
Non-profits, start ups and biotechs (mostly focused on fundraising and operations)
How do you define success?
Using my skill set to help clients achieve their goals (while having fun and making new professional and personal connections)
What do you do when you are not working on growing your business?
I like to weight train, play music, and enjoy our "nomading" life by taking in the local sights

Exercise and walk our dogs
Your legacy: How do you want to be remembered, both inside and outside of healthcare?
As a connector and "energizer bunny" always ready to lend a helping hand
What's your goal inside this community?
To meet more innovators and see how we might learn from each other and collaborate (as well as share learnings)
