What is going on?
So who watched Eurovision? I may be controversial with this opinion, but I doubt it. It was dross. What is the world coming to, we even gave the French "Douze points".
There is a moral to this, so bear with me.
The UK's song was abysmal. The lyrics right out of the Teletubbies, the singing was bleak, the permance was shocking. Who thought this was a good idea. To cap it all, singing in f*ing German!!!
Anyway, the message from me is to surround yourself with good people. Nobody obviously thought, "that song is utter crap, don't give it to a singer", or "he is utter crap, for goodness sake don't film or record it", or "Yeah thats a great idea, represent the UK" and dozens of steps in between.
Make sure you have people other than your Mum to tell you how good or bad an idea is, colleagues or confidantes who know you well enough to be honest and enough about you to spot a winner or a total turkey.
Null points form me but 1 from Ukraine. I think that was a thank you for armaments and money but maybe they loved it or am I too cynical.
