When I build my company website I looked at different solutions Wordpress, Hubspot, either too expensive or complex to use. Having a history of developing software over the last 26 years, including building a CMS in 2000 that would produce websites optimised so that blind people could read with a screen reader. I knew I could do better. I was happy enough with the solution I produced but some clients loved the site and when I showed off the built in features they wanted it. I migrated several from Wordpress which if you don't configure it well can be a bad experience.
