Curious how others are handling commission timing for salespeople.
For those of you paying a commission (especially if you’re doing salary + commission), when are you paying it out?
Are you paying partial commission when the deposit comes in during that week’s payroll? Or are you paying the full commission only after the job is completed and paid in full?
We’re currently paying salary plus commission, and I’m leaning toward paying commission on the back end once the job is completed and collected — but I’d love to hear how others are structuring it.
