✅ Teach Your Agent What “Done” Looks Like
Yesterday we talked about learning while your Digital Employee works. Today, let’s give that employee a finish line it can check. I’m Don Wansley. Call me Guru. 🎯 Start with the result Choose one small job: prepare a community post, organize a lesson, or turn approved notes into a customer briefing. Before execution, answer three questions: ✅ What should exist when the job is finished? ✅ Where should it be delivered? ✅ What evidence will show that it works? For a Skool lesson, “done” might mean the correct video is attached, the written lesson is preserved, and playback has been checked. That gives both you and your agent a clear completion standard. 🛠️ Give your agent this assignment “Use my approved materials to prepare one lesson. Preserve the existing content. Tell me what you need before changing anything. Show me the finished result, explain how you checked it, and record any unfinished steps. Prepare the draft for my review; publishing requires my approval.” With the appropriate tools and access, that instruction can guide real work and make review easier. 🔎 Keep a simple work receipt Ask your Digital Employee to return: 📌 Assignment: What was the job? 📂 Result: Where is the finished work? 🧪 Verification: What was actually checked? 🚧 Open items: What remains unfinished? 🧠 Learning: What should we remember for next time? That turns a real task into a practical learning experience. 🧠 Ask for guidance inside the job Imagine you’re preparing your first community lesson. You have notes, a video, and an image—but you need help bringing them together. Try this: “Help me prepare this lesson from my approved materials. Explain each step in plain language, point out anything missing, and show me the finished draft. Wait for my approval before publishing.” With the appropriate tools and access, your Digital Employee can help organize the materials and prepare the draft. Its explanation gives you something useful to learn from as you review. 🔎 “Done” needs evidence A prepared lesson and a published lesson are different stages. Ask: ✅ What did you complete? ✅ Where can I see the result? ✅ How did you check it? ✅ What still needs attention? Those answers become Proof of Work.
