Relationships - Making more everyday

I’m slowly realizing how “much “ is relational in music. Wow! I’m so glad I stayed with it and didn’t become a statistic rather a musician🤘

I think technique is a big factor (do you make it look effortless) but, mindset is really everything.. Lou Holtz quote..

I find my playing improves more than strictly exercises. Obtained clarity - I would have said total clarity, however, I don’t think that exists for overachievers 😬.

I guess my learning type is aural and visual bc writing things out helps my brain connect the dots. Aurally I am start to hear the weight of the dissonances or distance.

And of course memorizing patterns, lyrics, verses, choruses, etc for structure. Just wanted to share for those out there that might relate 🤷‍♂️.
