Your Why
What is your Why? Why did you pick the instrument you play/are learning? For me, I've always loved the guitar. Ever since I can remember, I've been fascinated with the instrument for its expressiveness. Not to mention, all guitars look cool AF. 😀 As for the band that made me want to play, well if I go back to when I was five (probably even younger), my cousin gave me her Beatles albums. They were long broken up by that time, but I became obsessed with the four lads from Liverpool, in particular, the guitar parts. :) As for shredding, that came later in life and you can thank Metallica's Kirk Hammett for that. That first listen to For Whom the Bell Tolls still sticks with me.
