How to pick up and just KNOW what to do
Hey guys. I had played guitar for almost 10 years doing the same - read tabs, learn techniques, repeat.
So at my peak, to the untrained ear I sounded like a pro. But I would panic picking up the guitar, not knowing where to start or what to do. Just playing the same dozen songs I had learned to play.
What is the best way to teach yourself how to pick up the guitar and just instantly start freestyling?
Is it learning music theory, scales, modes? Any recommendations on where to start and what order to learn?
