A tip of the hat to Debussy
Debussy is my favourite composer, and Clair de Lune is my favourite of his many wonderful pieces. This video is my wee tip of the hat to the great man, may he rest in peace. I hope it brings you a moments joy, as it always does for me 😊 https://youtu.be/JeKejkUzzKo

With the help of the long suffering Mrs Ross I managed to record in the daw, get it out in mp3 form, and then stick a wee slideshow on it. Comments/suggestions welcome 😽 https://youtu.be/Jjus8g7P-s4

I see other Guitarwavers posting wonderful music they have created so I thought I should post something to give you a little flavour of the music I write. Unfortunately I cannot use the daw yet so this just a low quality wee recording done on my old phone. The tune itself is an elegy to written for my wee pal Louie (the cat in my profile pic) who died a little while back. It is merely a solo guitar piece, but I would like to build an arrangement form it with many other instruments included. Any critique, thoughts or comments would be gladly accepted. Don't Think, Feeeeel 🙏 - Demo
Fellow GuitarWavers, This community has been so wonderful, that I've been so inspired recently that I have continued writing and recording and playing around with mixing. This idea is more towards the style that I would like to explore, the spacey-vibey kind of mood - I was hoping to try and have my stuff with only guitar, but this felt like it needed some rhythm to anchor it, but've tried to 'hide' it in the mix a little so the guitars stand out more. Thanks to @Rebecca Mardal mantra (via Bruce Lee) the whole process of writing, playing and mixing I tried not to think too much, but to feeeeel.
Future Project Endeavour - I Would Love Your Opinion 😁
Beautiful Humans of guitarwavers! For the last few months I have been considering starting an instrumental guitar project. Jumping down the rabbit of hole of instrumental guitar music I discovered @Sebastian Jautschus and his music - and here we are! I still haven't quite taken the leap to 'launch' said project as I'd like to get all my ducks in a row before hand. One of these 'ducks' is obviously, the songs! I thought this project would be a great time for me to learn more about recording and producing my music, and what better place to ask for guidance than in this very group! So if you happen to take a listen to the song, not only would I be incredibly grateful of your time but I would also welcome any tips or tricks, links or otherwise on how I can improve. Some things I should point out, in case you do listen - - I recorded through my HX Stomp into Logic. The reverbs, with the exception of on the improvised lead that runs through the song, are all on the HX Stomp - so I can't edit :P whoops! I could record the tracks again though. - The song itself came quite quickly, you'll hear its not an ambient track but more of a rhythmical track with some ambient textures to fill it up - so I don't know if this would actually be a song I would release in the future. I went into it recording the idea, going with what felt right and then trying to explore the mixing process. Regardless of whether you listen or not, I hope you are all having a lovely day 😁 If you DO listen, thank you and I can't wait to get chatting with you all about music, mixing, tones, reverbs, delays, and all that tasty stuff! Freddie 🙏
