Playing at family Christmas gathering

My cousin and I planned to play something together for a long time already and it was a wonderful experience.

I never played with another instrument and it was refreshing to not be focused on my playing only.

It was not yet perfect...after we started singing I lost the speed and strumming pattern. I am not used to so much distractions and violin was also very very strong here.

I also did not practice as much as I wanted becouse of illness. I really was not sure if it is a good idea to even play.

There was a special moment after that, when my cousin grabbed my grandma's guitar and we played some songs in the hall. It was such a big joy because of music, that we were able to share.

I said to her, that it must be so cool to play in orchestra, because she plays there and there are no guitars that play there. But then she said to me, that playing in a bend is even cooler. I was always admiring her playing violin but this time she told about the ways that guitar is cooler than violin. It was nice to hear her thoughts.

She and her sisters played violins for Christmas gatherings for more than 10 years already. I was always the one watching or holding the notes.

It felt so good to participate this time.

We just started playing and it is so funny that relatives just kept and kept on comming.
