Was there a time you almost quit playing? if there was why didn’t you? If you did what brought you back? Growing up there were quite a few guitar players that I looked up too. First in middle school, then high school, even in college when I was studying music! 🫣 They were gigging, learning songs I was only dreaming about… Living the dream as they say. Guess what they are all doing now? No longer even playing. Why do I bring this up?? The only way to not reach your guitar goals is to stop playing. Because the only thing you have to do to be a guitar player is... PLAY GUITAR Every day you pull it out of the case, take it off the stand, pull it down from the wall and PLAY... Is another step on the path to becoming the guitar player you want to be.

I Started learning guitar as an elective course in college. I then started playing on my an own about 4 years back, but found it difficult to do and stopped playing. Now, I’m starting back up and I’m hoping to Learn how to trasition fingers and relearn chords. What is your favorite song to listen to right now (or pick a few if you can't choose 1 🙃)? I know there are a few members here who have just started their guitar journey. So I thought I would post this video on how to change strings and share some basic maintenance tips. These are just my methods and there are many others out there but this works for me. I hate for people to have to give up their guitar for any given amount of time plus spending extra money unnecessarily on doing something that could easily be done at home....The video is a little long as I go through the following: String Removal, Fret board cleaning and polishing frets, general cleaning, restringing and tuning along with stretching the strings...
