SPEAKING
  1. On a scale of 1-10, what is your level of agreement? Why is it not higher/lower?
  2. What are the strengths of the speaker's position?
  3. What are the weaknesses of the speaker's position?
  4. What sources does he cite? How credible are they? Can you find evidence for the same idea for other languages?
  5. What might be bad about English mania?
  6. Describe your own experience and motivation to learn English/other language?
VOCABULARY
  1. Research words in the talk. Find 3 examples, from talk, from dictionary, from self.
  2. Put onto an SRS
  3. Make a mindmap
  4. Find synonyms of one word they like and use in 3 sentences.
  5. Wordsearch.
  6. Crossword

WRITING
  1. Write a comment to the speaker.
  2. Email the speaker with their thoughts.
  3. Write a blog post on a topic related to this
  4. Summarise the talk
  5. Write about another key knowledge domain
