Saturday Reflections: Attitudes of A Transformed Heart
Happy Saturday! You've made it through another week! Maybe you feel like it's been a rough week, maybe your week was awesome. No matter how it was, congratulations! 😊 As a first post to kick off my Skool community, I wanted to share an article I wrote a few years ago. Saturdays I will post an end of the week article every week for you to enjoy and reflect on over the weekend. Be sure to comment and engage with it! Whether you are a Christian, or just just curious, this article explores the transformed heart, a miracle done by God that those who believe in Jesus have experienced. Enjoy! 💫Attitudes of a Transformed Heart: Only an all powerful God can take a heart that is hardened as stone and make it alive again in Him such that it can love God. This is regeneration, this is hope, this is authentic transformation. “And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 35:26 Transformed. Truly I can think of few words that carry such hope and a sense of renewal. As God would have it, this is exactly what He offers believers. Only an all powerful God can take a heart that is hardened as stone and make it alive again in Him such that it can love God. This is regeneration, this is hope, this is authentic transformation. There are many attitudes of a transformed heart, but today I just wanted to share three that captivated my attention. The first is that… 1. A transformed heart trusts in the Lord and acknowledges Him in all ways Scripture tell us this in Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” This attitude is foundational since the wisdom of God is not the wisdom of man. A Christian must not be divided in loyalties between this world and the ways of God. We must make the Lord our sole master and trust Him in all things. If you’re like me, you are thinking this is easier said than done! ☺️ Thankfully God is more concerned about this process than our perfection in this journey. He IS our perfection, we just need to be obedient.
