The Boost Call
I was caught off guard when my name showed up on the wheel last Tuesday's Boost call. I had to expose my community about page (and the contradiction I was holding on my shoulders), to a large number of people and it pushed me to make the changes I need to make suggested by @Goose Dunlavey. My community was previously named Project Renaissance and it was about Finance, and Financial decisions (I know, not related), including writing because I wanted to include my writing hobby as well with my Finance work to merge both and create an integrated method This caused a lot of confusion on the about page, the community message was not clear, and it was an absolute disservice to anyone who would visit. We needed to fix that! I have made some changes inside out, it's called Finance Renaissance, I changed my publication's name in Substack into Project Renaissance because that's were all the ideas get poured into, cleaned the about page and community bio (and I'm attached to that title lol) Thank you @Rositsa Aleksandrova @Chanie Twersky and anyone who I forgot to mention that gave feedback. This post acts as an open feedback channel for further improvements ๐Ÿ˜

Wingman help
I need some help. I have wingman, I can see my members, the rank growth, churns ok but then? What else can I do with it? I have read about automated DMs but I can't figure it out. My community is still free, so there is no data conversions, retentions etc I mean...can someone help me. I need to understand how to use it better because I'm sure I'm missing something.

Hi I am new to this app
Doubts with the outcome...
Not sure if this is the right place to post this. My community is more or less ready, but the more I work on this, the more I have doubts about what I am doing. It is a weird feeling. I am not complaining about the platform, but about the outcome. I have run several forums in the past for my company maxprog.com, one with free phpbb.com and the other with the paid xenforo.com platform. The first one failed to upgrade at some point, and the other ended up full of spam and almost impossible to manage. None of them reached the critical level where people started talking to each other; I mean, those two forums were support forums. It only added more work since I had to read the new post every day, and very rarely did people respond in my place. Boring, boring, boring. I even run Disqus on most of my website pages. No spam, no community feeling, just people asking for help, me responding, and Disqus failing to notify me when new stuff was posted. After 5 years, I gave up. So, I am afraid of running into something similar; rather than being happy visiting my community, I will have my mailbox full of messages and the community full of people looking for responses. ๐Ÿค” I like helping, but I don't like repeating the same thing again and again.
