About designing communities on Skool 🧠🚀
Hey Skoolers! Greetings from the 2nd Meeting of the International Alliance on Brain Health. I am here surrounded by researchers and medical colleagues, but my creator chip is still active. While listening to panels on how the brain processes information and overstimulation, it really clicked for me how we design our own spaces here on Skool. Have you ever thought about how a poorly organized space here on Skool can literally trigger the "stress response" in members and cause them to silently abandon the community? Sometimes low retention is not a lack of interest, it is pure biology. If the brain perceives it as a threat or a very heavy cognitive load, it disconnects. I am attending various congresses and events in my field to dive even deeper into how to, lower cognitive friction in our courses, design posts and dynamics that do not drain our members' social battery, foster genuine engagement without generating burnout in users. But I want to hear from you. What techniques are you currently using to make the experience in your communities smoother, friendlier, and easier to navigate for your members?
