What you say and how you say it is just as important as what you sell.
I see this happen all the time - businesses have a fantastic product or service but their marketing is so devoid of emotional connection that it doesn't sell or sell well.
ANY brand can dramatically change the way their marketing lands with just a few simple changes to What they say, and How they say it - which is illustrated here with the two pictures of our hitchhiker.
The important thing to note is that the products/service (our hitchhiker) hasn't changed a bit. Same person/business needing the same outcome, a ride/sale.
But the two small changes to What is said and How it's said (message and smile) make all the difference in the world in terms of how we perceive it, relate to it, and feel drawn to engage with it.
This is a great lesson for every brand.
You don't need a ton of money to make great advertising - you need a great message and engaging presentation of that message. That's what counts.
