What I realized on the toilet today

this morning I was sitting on the toilet and I left my phone in my bedroom. my heart SANK. my tik tok brain went into panic mode, the turtle head left the shell and the voice inside my bowels started to talk to me.

bowels: "josh, it's been 20 years since i've had you to myself, i have decided to pause the ejection, let's make up for spare time, how have you been?"

*an intense awkward silence rattled my bones, i have never felt social anxiety quite like this before

i couldn't bring the courage to reply, i stood back up, darted straight for the bedroom, grabbed my phone and went back for round 2. i realised its not possible to poo without my phone.
