Hey Goosify legends!

Quick history drop of the eggplant emoji—before the eggplant emoji was making all our chats a little spicier, this purple veggie was busy conquering ancient Asian gardens like a boss.

The eggplant first took root over 2,000 years ago somewhere between India and China. Back then, it looked more like a tiny wild berry than the big, shiny purple dude you know today.
