Quick update and question on my main store.
I’ve been running a single feed-only PMax campaign at $3,500/day spend and cruising at a 2.7 lifetime ROAS. My catalog has about 800 parent products (~21.8k SKUs in Merchant Center).
I pulled data from the last 14, 30, and 60 days:
- Top 20 spenders: 19 are highly profitable (the #1 spender is breaking even, so I kept it running)
- Overall breakdown: 27 clear winners, 43 clear losers, 51 on watch, and 675 getting little to no spend.
Up until now, I have never touched or pruned the feed. For the first time ever, I went in and drafted/paused about 25–30 parent products that had over $100 in unprofitable spend to stop the bleed.
Honestly, I’m not entirely sure what my best move is next.
- Did I do the right thing by cutting those parent products, or should I have handled it differently?
- What should I do with the 675 products getting almost zero traffic?
- I am highly profitable but don't want to tank profitability.
- Given how profitable the winners are, what is the smartest next step to take this further?
