HALLOWEEN: A NIGHT OF REMEMBRANCE, NOT FEAR
Once upon a time, this night wasn’t about masks and monsters. It was a sacred turning of the seasons... known by the ancients as Samhain, the moment the veil between worlds grew thin. Before it became commercialized and inverted, Samhain was a ceremony of honor, harvest, and remembrance. Families gathered to light fires for those who walked before them. They wore cloaks and masks not to summon fear but to walk unseen between worlds while honoring the unseen. When the Roman Church later rebranded it as All Hallows’ Eve, the essence began to shift. Fear replaced reverence. Candy replaced offering. Costume replaced ceremony. The original language of the soul was hidden beneath tricks and treats. But tonight, we remember. We remember that light and shadow dance together in this human story. We remember that death is not the end, it’s the turning of the spiral. We remember that the ancestors are not gone... they’re listening. And most importantly… we remember who we are: The living bridge between worlds. 🕯️ Tonight, light a candle. Speak a name. Thank those who came before you. Let the flame remind you that your light is ancient, and nothing truly dies... it only transforms. This is not a night of fear. It is a night of remembrance, awareness, and power.
