What safety nets do you incorporate with VA’s?

I’m looking to hire a VA to do client tasks for my agency like building out sites, simple automations, etc…

My biggest concern atm is giving someone I don’t really know access to all of my clients info.

What precautions can I take to be confident all this info is safe?

Or is it something I just don’t need to worry about?
