I have a question, I used a Twilio integration to enable sending SMS messages on a sub account. Now a client of mine has asked whether she could use WhatsApp.
Belgian traditional SMS carriers are notoriously greedy and charge more than 10 cents per SMS so this is not a cost-effective solution. I am wondering if someone has also switched from SMS enabled numbers to WhatsApp?
If so, I have a couple of questions:
- Do you need a Business WhatsApp account in order to use WhatsApp?
- The only thing we cannot use it for (comparing it to a Twilio or LC SMS enabled number) is the Missed Call Text Back feature, right?
