Am I the only one that thinks HL *barely* works?

Don't get me wrong. I love the software, but holy hell, why is it so slow or why do functions constantly seem to not work at all?

If Facebook had the same lag time and bugginesss, its user base would drop in half.

I don't know what kind of spaghetti code they have behind this thing but I wish they'd just focus on speeding it up before working on any new features.

Has anybody found any solutions to this? I use it on multiple computers with the same issue and will regularly need to reset my cache for it to work properly.
