Boy, was it uncomfortable!!
Day 17 complete..
In Gabe's message, he guided us to ask for truth yesterday even if it was uncomfortable, especially if it was uncomfortable..
That is exactly how my day went..
Actually, it's how the last few days have gone. But yesterday was kinda the pinnacle..
I was cleaning out an office area and had made up my mind. I was literally going to go through each paper, piece by piece, and through every single huge post it note (I use a lot of post it notes when I work because i'm very visual and very kinestheitc).
I' read paper after paper and note after note of all the things I had created and taught people and all of a things that were just part of who I was as a person and who we were is a company and ministry..
2022 brought catastrophe to our company in not only the terms of millions of dollars lost, but also in the terms of me becoming lost..
My team did the best they could, but it just wasn't enough to continue to perpetuate the truth. God had given me and that I had been teaching for years.
All of it stopped..
And over the next few years. I lost key team members and have found myself back in the tactical of the everyday.... in the weeds of operations..
This is not where my gift nor my anointing lie and as I read all those pieces of paper yesterday, I didn't realize it, but my heart was sinkng because of all of that being lost..
Last night it was heavy on my heart as I went to bed. And asked God to show me what he wanted me to see through it..
Hey, literally reminded me that I was the go to source for people learning how to dream-build and set their goals. And that I had stopped doing what I had always taught.
He reminded me that none of it is gone because he poured it into me. And it is buried within me throughout every fiber of my being.
The uncomfortable brings about rejoicing because it allowed me to see something. I desperately needed to see.
In the middle of the night, I woke up and began doing work on rebuilding the core of not just our company and our ministry and what we teach and what we do, but the core of me..
And as a bonus, he reminded me that he had brought friends my way..
Over these past several years, there has been a very, very big friend void in my life. I have done quite a lot of reaching out so my husband and I have not been alone but the friendships have not been deep. They have been shallow and they certainly haven't been ones filled up with the Lord.
In the last week two different people have reached out to me!
That felt absolutely amazing because it was something so unusual!
He's bringing me back to me! And he's bringing me friends to fill up my life!
He is a good good God. And his desire for us is to be more than comfortable.
His desire for us is joy.
And his desire for us is to fully live in the anointing and purpose for which he created us.
Comfortable is a good word for it.... over-the moon-grateful is even better..
Hallelujah, and thank you, Jesus!!
