Keep going, Cris! God is with you even when we aren't sure. Praying for you. 🫶🙏
Dreams & Visions
Day 8 done. For many years, I went to sleep asking God to show up in my dreams as I slept. I asked him to guide me, reveal things to me and even give me next steps. I also taught this to the people I was blessed to lead. And then, I not only stopped teaching it, I stopped doing it. On occasion I would think of it as I'd lie down, and on occasion I'd do it, but with no consistency. This challenge has brought me back to it. I go to sleep asking God to meet me in my dreams. God's word says the young will see visions, the old will dreams dreams and the generations after will prophecy. Samuel even HEARD God calling him in the night. I'm back to doing it. And, God is talking to me as I sleep. I wake up, give myself a little time to sit with it and then write it down. There is absolutely nothing better than asking God to give you future plans and visions as you dream. He is sooooo real!!! Hallelujah!!!

Beautiful 💜🙏
👉 Start here. You felt something. Don’t ignore it.
Welcome to God Tap 🙏 Starting Monday, 25 of us are doing this together — 30 days to clear the noise and get positioned to actually hear God. Here's exactly what to do before we begin: 1. Watch/read these two Classroom modules first: - God Tap: Start Here - The Fasting Protocol That's really all you need to know before Day 1. 2. Post your fast choice below — 1-day, 2-day, 3-day, or digital fast (no social media, no streaming, no news). If you have any health condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating, talk to your doctor first or just choose the digital fast. Your health isn't a sacrifice this requires. 3. Introduce yourself. One sentence — who you are and why you're doing this. This is how the group actually becomes a group. 4. Check ACCOUNTABILITY for your small-group tag — you'll be grouped with 4–5 others so you've got real people checking in on you daily, not just a feed. Monday morning, Day 1 goes live. Get some rest tonight. "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." — Ephesians 2:10 — Gabe

I haven't started the full 3 day fast but I'm starting little by little with fasting mornings. I also just started a fitness program so hoping this helps me as well.
Day 6 DONE
Something to chew on… do you think the devil is easier to hear than God in the world we live in?

This is a thoughtful question. I believe worldly influences can often feel more common and familiar, which may make them easier. However, taking action and living out one’s faith is more challenging. As followers of Christ, we are called to walk a narrow path and continually die to the flesh. Which IS SO DIFFICULT. I also believe that God shapes our character to become more Christlike, and that process is not easy. While we will never be perfect, these experiences strengthen our faith and help us grow. At times, it seems that many Christians face more trials and tribulations while others appear to move through life with ease and joy. Comparison has been getting me lately which I know is the enemy. I know comparison is the thief of joy. Its difficult for me. I know God uses the challenges as part of the refining process to deepen our faith and develop our character. But, it isn't pleasant and sucks at times. Most days, I don't complain but today isn't one of those days. I'm still growing and learning. God bless.
New here
Hi there! I've been a believer for a while. However, I've endured many health challenges along the way. I'm a two time Cancer survivor and know God is my rock. I moved last year and it's been a challenge to find a Christian church or place to call home. However, I've been dealing with another health challenge that is supposedly unoperable. I know God does miracles and I know he'll heal me as he's shown me. However, I'm getting to the point of exhaustion and lack of motivation. This new challenge has physically changed me and everything seems grey at times. I know I should have hope as my hope comes from God. I just feel a sense of constant grief. Grief of being who I used to be. While also feeling lack of motivation and feeling as though I'm always in a BATTLE. I'm tired of physical health battles. I'm also learning to fully love who I am in this moment. My emotions and mind just seem to be on over drive at times. I want to get back to disciplining the mind since it continously wants to bring me down. God's word sustains. I honestly haven't had the discipline to read or pray like I use too. The desire has dwindled. I feel like I've slowly retreated in my relationship with God. Last night, I attended an amazing women's Christian event. It was encouraging to spend my time in that way. However, I've realized I need to find a church home where prayer is the main focus. Sorry for the long rant. I'm happy to be a part of a community that feels a lot and is focused on making God #1 in their lives. I know a 3 day fast will get me back on track. I just hope I start and complete it.

@Elisa DiMeo Yep, you know exactly how I feel! Yes, the mental gymnastics is so spot on. I'm sorry you had to endure it too. It's exhausting to say the least. Thank you for the kinds words and for lifting me up in prayer. I really appreciate it. 💜🙏

Everyone is so lovely! Thank you all for allowing me to be vulnerable and to vent. It's truly a blessing. I have a bad habit of pretending everything is okay even when its not. Thank you!💜🙏
