As Christians, we have nothing to brag about except Jesus. We are not saved because we are good, kind, generous, or faithful enough.We are saved because of the grace of God through Jesus Christ, who gave His life for us on the cross in Jerusalem. Every blessing we have is a gift.Every step of faith is because of His mercy.Without Jesus, we have nothing to boast in. Stay humble.Give Him all the glory.The cross reminds us that our salvation was purchased by His love, not earned by our works. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” — Ephesians 2:8–9 Let your life point people to Jesus, not to yourself.

Sometimes the deepest love is hidden in the smallest sentences. “Did you eat?”“I’m here.”“Drive safely.”“Call me when you can.”“Good morning.”“Blessed day.”“Rest well.” “You made it home?”“Take your time.”“I prayed for you today.”“How are you feeling?”“You don’t have to do this alone.”“Thank you for being you.”“I’m proud of you.”“You mean the world to me.”“Where is my sweet one?”“I saved this for you.”“I was thinking about you.”“Can I help?”“I’m listening.”“I believe in you.”“You make life brighter.”“I’m grateful for you.”“Text me when you arrive.”“Be careful.”“You’ve got this.”“I’m always cheering for you.”“I’m happy you’re in my life.” Love is not only found in grand speeches. It is found in presence, consistency, kindness, and care. The people who truly love us often say “I love you” without ever using those three words. Their actions become the language of their hearts. “Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”— 1 John 3:18 Little things built love

Take time to learn about people. Listen before you speak. Ask before you assume. Understand before you judge. Every person has a story, a battle, and a reason they are the way they are. When we are willing to know someone’s heart, we can encourage them, strengthen them, and love them the way Jesus loves us. People don’t just need to be heard—they need to be understood. Let’s be quick to listen, slow to speak, and ready to encourage one another with kindness and grace. “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.” — James 1:19

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32 Or this verse also fits beautifully: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 My doctor told me, “Mom, you’re too tough on yourself.” At first, I didn’t think much of it. But then I realized she was right. As an Arab woman, I was raised to be strong. We were taught not to complain, to keep going, and to always say, “Thanks be to God,” no matter what. Gratitude is part of our faith. It is how we trust God through every season. But somewhere along the way, I confused strength with being hard on myself. Today, I am learning something new: I can still be grateful to God while also being gentle with myself. I can trust Him and extend the same grace to myself that He so freely gives me. Being kind to yourself is not weakness. It is accepting God’s love and mercy for you. I am thankful my daughter helped me see what I could not see. Growth often begins with listening. Lord, teach me to love others, but also to care for the heart You created within me.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 There were times I didn’t want to believe.There were times I didn’t want to obey.There were times I was spiritually blind.There were times I listened more to people than to God. I searched for answers everywhere, forgetting that the One who created me already knew the way. Yet God never gave up on me.He patiently waited, loved me, guided me, and reminded me that He has always been the answer. When I stopped trying to control everything and started trusting Him, I found peace.When I surrendered, I discovered that He already had every answer I was searching for. God has me.He has my future.He has the answers.And He will never let go of those who trust in Him.
