Recursive logic
Recursive logic is thought that feeds back into itself. for example: If I choose stability over freedom, I won't be happy, but if i choose freedom over security, I'm always afraid. We face recursive logic all the time, but 99% of the time these are false equivalencies. For example, failure and success are not opposites. Success comes from trying and achieving your goals. Failure comes from not trying at all. If its 10 degrees Fahrenheit (-12c) and your car doesn't start, you would say (expletive, expletive, expletive), the car failed to start, but if the car does start and you knock the snow and ice off, get two blocks and the car dies. You don't talk about the car failing but what was wrong with the car. You start diagnosing the problem. like CRAP the battery died. As we grow our businesses in 2026 don't worry about failing. If you've made it this far you can't fail, you can only learn from you past mistakes, maybe even the mistakes of others and do better. Let's have a call and let me help you learn from my mistakes. Be Better in 2026!! Happy New Year!

What's Your Morning Mantra?
Mine: Today, I create clarity. One build, one offer, one step forward.
Start one of these businesses in 2026
1. AI-Powered Compliance Tracker Target: Construction, healthcare, logistics, finance. Problem: Businesses face increasing compliance/regulation requirements. App Idea: Build an AppSheet or Airtable app that auto-logs compliance checks, integrates AI to summarize gaps, and sends alerts before deadlines. Revenue Model: Subscription per seat ($99–$499/month), plus setup fees. Why 2026? Regulations and ESG reporting are only increasing, and companies want lightweight, mobile-friendly tools instead of enterprise bloat. 2. Field-Service Niche Apps (Vertical SaaS) Target: Contractors, property managers, solar installers, pest control. Problem: They juggle scheduling, invoicing, and technician accountability with paper or spreadsheets. App Idea: White-label dispatcher/work-order apps — mobile-first with GPS check-ins, photo uploads, and customer review capture. Revenue Model: SaaS ($199–$599/month per crew), with optional add-ons (e.g., storm data, weather alerts). Why 2026? The “vertical SaaS” wave is accelerating — niche-specific apps scale faster than broad platforms. 3. AI-Driven Micro-Learning App for Teams Target: Mid-sized businesses with distributed workforces. Problem: Training is expensive, clunky, and not engaging. App Idea: A mobile app that delivers 5-minute micro-lessons, quizzes, and AI-chat coaching tied to company SOPs or compliance. Revenue Model: Per-employee monthly fee ($10–$20/user).Why 2026? Corporate learning budgets are growing, and AI is making “just-in-time” training possible. 4. Client Intake + Workflow Automator Target: Service businesses (law firms, accountants, agencies, clinics).Problem: Intake forms and follow-ups are scattered across email, forms, spreadsheets. App Idea: A no-code app that unifies intake → auto-assigns staff → tracks status → sends branded updates to clients. Revenue Model: Setup fee + monthly subscription ($249–$799/month).Why 2026? SMBs want automation without paying for Salesforce or HubSpot.
Are you closing the year with intention or just activity?
This is the season of contradictions—everything accelerates while simultaneously grinding to a halt. You're wrapping up projects, managing last-minute pivots, and trying to forecast what January will demand. What most leaders miss: this liminal space is defining your entire year. Leadership isn't forged in kickoff meetings or quarterly wins. It's forged in moments like this—when clarity cuts through chaos, and strategic direction matters more than frantic motion. Over the past month, I've heard the same questions from leaders across industries: "What does my team actually need from me right now?" "Are we genuinely aligned on Q1 success?" "Do we have the capabilities to execute our strategy?" Here's what I keep returning to: How you close this year determines how your team starts the next. 2026 won't be shaped by your first January meeting. It will be shaped by the clarity, alignment, and capability you establish right now. Three areas that create the most impact: 1. Clarity: Name what's unspoken.People rarely fail from lack of effort—they fail because they're guessing. Define success in concrete terms, not vague aspirations. 2. Alignment: Match people to the right roles.Stop forcing square pegs into round holes. When capability meets responsibility, your team performs better and breathes easier. 3. Capability: Develop the people you're depending on.Brilliant strategies crumble without skilled execution. And execution isn't improvised in January—it's built in December. 2026 won't be defined by a date on the calendar. It will be defined by the readiness of the people you bring into it. If you need support identifying skill gaps, strengthening alignment, or building clarity for the year ahead, I have limited discovery sessions available this month. 📅 Let's ensure your team enters 2026 ready.
