NEW: VIP daily check-in. Why?
Whatever we are up to in life, sometimes it's useful to have a buddy or a community to help clarify our intentions, get into action, and to review our results. The new daily check-in is designed for this purpose, should you have the need, more in the video herewith. PS If you are not sure if you are VIP and/or think you should be, contact me!

Personal Development in Portugal (updated thread)
It looks like migration is all about the nuts and bolts, which of course are important; the bureaucracy, the formalities, etc. A lot of my public-facing work is about that, here's a good example (navigating Portugal's financas portal). BUT, or AND - at least to me (and as you may have seen in my weekly Portugal Resident column) - this matter of moving country, is as much an 'inner game' as an outer pursuit. We can, if we wish, learn so much about ourselves too in this process and grow as human beings in the process. Portugal brings unique aspects to our 'unfolding' as well of course, see 'The Power of Não!' I have so much to share on this topic (to me it's not really a subject, it's what I am here on this planet and in Portugal to explore; it's a way of seeing the world), and this thread will include resources I have found useful, in no particular order or preference. Shares will include all sorts of links that will range from the deeply spiritual through to the more materialistc life-hacks and insights, like Dan Koe and Fraya Mortensen, attached today. Let me know if this chimes with you, and please share your inspiration here too...
"Choose Portugal if you want, but please choose" (Portugal Resident article)
I have quoted @James 'AnOldGuyinEurope' Holley this week in my Resident column which begins... "Did you see that recent UK Guardian ‘article’: “Why are so many Americans moving to Portugal? Apart from the obvious reason…”? And did it irk you like it irked me? There are a number of things about the headline alone that congest the craw, as it were. “So many”, for a start, is such an unhelpful and subjective pair of words, and don’t get me started about the “obvious reason”, at least not yet, which is as crass as it’s clever in drawing in the reader, like a mouse to cheese-topped trap ... More." To put the gist of my piece another way, "know your why" as @Veronica - Ondrejech recently shared, also on Good Morning Portugal! It's really important for best results 😉 Have a great weekend, bom fim de semana 😘 PS Another community member has also been busy writing, see: "Breakfast of the Damned: Tavira Edition". Can you guess who it is?
