French onion soup is my fave from a few local restaurants… I looked up a recipe and it’s so inexpensive to make!
Caramelize onions
Add spices (thyme, rosemary, whatever you like)
Deglaze pan (wine, or I used balsamic vinegar)
Add beef broth and let reduce
Served with a piece of my fave toasted sunflower loaf from Kroger deli and some alpine blend (Gruyère/swiss) cheese
