Devotional: Break the Muzzle โWe cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.โ Acts 4:20 (NLT) โOpen your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute.โ Proverbs 31:8 (ESV) โFor God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.โ 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) Thereโs a lie that says staying silent is a sign of humility. But often, what we call "quiet obedience" is actually spiritual sabotage. The enemy knows that a silent believer is a powerless one. When you don't speak, you donโt shake hell. When you stay quiet, you withhold breakthrough from others. You werenโt saved to stay silent. You were saved to speak, to declare, to intercede, to prophesy, to testify. This isnโt about being loud for the sake of volume. Itโs about being bold for the sake of truth. Heaven didnโt fill you with the Holy Spirit just to tame your personality. It equipped you to release what sets captives free. The early church didnโt survive by keeping their mouths shut. They were told to be quiet and they refused. Why? Because when youโve seen Jesus, when you've been delivered, when youโve encountered His power, you canโt keep it to yourself. The enemy would love to keep you muzzled by ๐จfear, ๐ตโ๐ซshame, ๐จunworthiness, or ๐ฌfalse humility. But today!!!!! THAT MUZZLE BREAKS!!!! ๐There are people waiting on the other side of your voice. ๐Your testimony, ๐your prayers, your YES they matter. ๐Prayer: Lord, I repent for every time I stayed silent when You told me to speak. I reject every lie that told me I was being โhumbleโ by holding back. Youโve given me boldness, not fear. Youโve given me truth, not timidity. Unmuzzle my mouth today. Teach me to speak with love, but also with fire. Use my voice for Your glory and may hell regret ever trying to silence me. In Jesusโ name, Amen. ๐ท Share how the enemy has been trying to silence you and how the Holy Spirt has broken you through the muzzle.
