Today I am remembering the free feeling of being able to do whatever I want. All I had to worry about was feed the animals in the morning and at night. We lived on a farm/ranch. Or watering the garden. Still remember tomatoes right off the plant! Other than that I was free to do what I wanted. There was some excitement i can now recall about playing football with all my friends. It seemed like everyday we played then sat around and drank water or soda afterwards. Guess my point is the freedom of being a kid was in a way magical. Fun times were had in the 80's.

Something crazy from back in the day. I used to go to a friend's house all the time and play baseball or football or something sports related. On the property was a rental unit and my wifes sister rented there. My wife would visit all the time but we never met at the time. Small world we live in really. Could have met my future wife at the time.
