It is so great to have you here in your GBC BETTER LIFE ACADEMY!!! You will find courses, conversation, challenges, prizes, and most of spiritual growth in all areas of your life. In order to make the most of your time here, I'd ask that you do a few things: 1) INTRODUCE YOURSELF in the comments so we know who you are What's your favorite book, scripture, or person of the bible? What's your favorite travel destination? 2) COMMENT on someone else's comment or post. Earn points by having your post and comments "liked" and by "liking and commenting" on others. Prizes will come. 3) VISIT THE MENU bar and be sure to click on classroom and calendar to stay up-to-date with new online courses, virtual live classes, and onsite sessions. 4) PARTICIPATE often. Make visiting this page a daily stop to get morning motivation, better life spiritual tips, and stay in conversation with highly motivated believers. Your network is your networth, and community matters. 5) CONSIDER UPGRADING to the next level of growth. Our leadership prep courses begin at the premium level, and then the Kingdom Business building courses are available at the VIP level. Why does the caged bird sing?
🎶 I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings Sometimes the song isn’t about comfort… it’s about survival, faith, and hope. A bird in a cage sings because deep down it still believes in freedom. It still believes there’s more beyond what it currently sees. And spiritually, many of us have had seasons where life felt limiting, heavy, or uncertain—, but somehow God still placed a song in our spirit. Your song is your testimony.Your worship.Your resilience.Your reminder that your current situation does not have the final word. So this week, choose your song intentionally. Your Role in the Goal
Sometimes it can be difficult figuring out how you fit in, but as one of my mentors James Davis says, "know that everyone has a Role in the Goal. You have a hand in God's plan." - Acts 1:8: Believers are called to be witnesses of Christ, sharing what they have seen and experienced. PLANS to share the Gospel
One of the greatest ways to grow in sharing the Gospel is to remember this simple acronym: PLANS 🙌🏾 P – Powerful QuestionsJesus often asked questions that opened hearts and caused people to think deeper. Questions create conversation, not confrontation. L – ListeningPeople don’t just want to be preached at… they want to be heard. Listening builds trust and reveals real needs. A – AccountabilityAs believers, we help one another grow. Sharing the Gospel also means walking with people beyond the moment. N – No OpinionNot every conversation needs our personal opinion. Sometimes the assignment is simply to point people back to God’s truth and love. S – SilenceDon’t rush every moment. Silence allows people time to reflect, process, and hear what God may already be speaking to their hearts. The Gospel spreads best through authentic relationships, intentional conversations, and Spirit-led wisdom. ✨ Sometimes the most powerful witness is not talking more… it’s listening better. Measure your GROWTH
GROWTH doesn’t happen by accident… it happens through daily discipline. 👑 Real discipleship is not just about attending church — it’s about becoming the kind of man who consistently walks with God even when nobody is watching. The G.R.O.W.T.H. principles remind us to: 🙏 Go to God in prayer daily 📖 Read God’s Word daily ✅ Obey God moment by moment 🗣️ Witness for Christ through your life and words 🤝 Trust God with every detail of your life 🔥 Honor the Holy Spirit by allowing God to guide and empower you daily Strong men aren’t built overnight.
